Description
Rapid Set Concrete is formulated to develop an initial set beginning at 15 minutes after placement. It contains a blend of Portland cement, gravels, sands and two accelerating compounds.
There are two methods of using Rapid-Set Concrete. The dry method which has a fast set time and the wet method which creates a stronger compressive strength.
Dry Method
Containing a unique accelerator, the product can be placed around posts with water poured on top and no mixing is required. This allows for faster placement of posts.
Wet Method
To achieve higher compressive strength, mix the concrete with water prior to placement.
